When I had my baby, something shifted. All of a sudden, the products I used every day actually mattered in a different way. What touched their skin, what they drank from, what they played with—it all felt important. And the deeper I looked, the more frustrating it got.
Everything is marketed as “safe.”
Labels sound clean. Packaging looks reassuring. But when you actually start digging into materials and ingredients… it’s not that simple.
Plastic everywhere.

A lot of “it’s probably fine.”
And that didn’t sit right with me.
So I did what most moms end up doing—way too much research.
Late nights, ingredient lists, comparing materials, reading studies, going down rabbit holes I didn’t expect to be in.
Especially when it came to plastic and how it can affect hormone health, development, and long-term exposure—once you see it, you can’t really unsee it.
But here’s the problem: No one has time to do that level of research for everything.
That’s why I created Best for Baby Co.
Not to be perfect.
